Theme: “Reaching the Unreached: Improving Population Health in the Rural and Remote Areas” Description: International Conference on Public Health (ICPH) is a scientific meeting bringing together government leaders, policy makers, health planners, public health professionals, allied health practioners, researchers, academicians, and allied health students, community leaders, and private sector, to address, discuss, and solve issues of public health importance, at global, regional, national, and local levels. Aim: This conference aims to address pressing issues pertinent to population health in the rural and remote areas, covering four areas of discussion: (1) Education, (2) Regulatory, (3) Financial incentives, (4) Personal and professional support, and to recommend some realistic, scalable, and sustainable models of population health program for the isolated, underserved, rural and remote communities. Objectives: 1. To discuss thorny issues pertinent to population health in the rural and remote areas, including staff shortages, uneven distribution of staff, gaps in skills and competencies, low retention and poor motivation, and other challenges. 2. To describe policy and priorities for ensuring equity of access to primary health care in rural and remote areas 3. To discuss health promotion strategies to address health issues among the indonesian communities in isolated and underserved areas 4. To discuss the strategies for an improvement in recruitment and retention of skilled and motivated healthcare workers in remote and under-served areas (including education, regulatory, financial incentives, personal and professional development support). 5. To develop realistic, scalable, and sustainable models of population health program in rural and remote areas 6. To identify social, economic, cultural, behavioral determinants of health in the rural and remote areas 7. To identify barriers and assign appropriate interventions for population health in the rural and remote areas 8. To develop effective partnerships with other providers and community agencies to build a cross-continuum infrastructure that will support population health endeavors in the rural and remote areas. 9. To describe women's empowerment initiatives for the enhancement of the maternal and child health care services utilization in lower income settings. 10.
